WHAT IS THERMAL IMAGING?
Thermal imaging or infrared thermography is the easiest and quickest method to detect energy waste , moisture and electrical issues in buildings.
Infrared cameras show temperature differences over entire surfaces. Cameras are used for capturing and recording thermal distribution and variations. This allows accurate measuring of heat patterns, dissipation, leakage and other temperature factors.
In buildings and homes thermal imaging has the potential for improving energy efficiency by detecting things like:
- presence or effectiveness of insulation
- HVAC heating and cooling issues
- moisture detection
- electrical problems
- plumbing problems
- air leakage
